How do I download a video?

Links and Compatibility

Why does my link show an error?

Common reasons include private posts, removed content, invalid URLs, temporary platform restrictions, or network issues.

Can I download private videos?

No. Private or restricted content is not available through public URL processing.

Can I download carousel posts, stories, or live videos?

Support focuses on standard TikTok videos and Instagram Reels. Other content types may not be available.

Do shortened links work?

In most cases yes, but if a shortened link fails, open it first, copy the final URL from your browser, and paste that URL instead.

Why does Instagram open inside the app and not give me a clean URL?

Use the platform share menu and choose copy link. If your app wraps links, paste the link into a browser first and copy the final URL.

Can I choose video resolution manually?
